WASI integrates the ability to organize contacts for multiple parties based on their type of involvement in a matter or court case. Firms can now maintain details of multiple parties including:

Clients: When adding clients, users can select from clients that are individual or corporate. Each client type prompts users to enter address fields, contact details and branch location. In addition, users can upload trade licenses, passport copies and Powers of Attorney for verification purposes. For corporate clients with multiple branches, users can identify the branches under a single corporate headquarter address. In addition, the contacts of the corporate headquarter can may also be given access to view matter and case data of all of its branches through the online client portal. Insert figure

Opponents: Knowing the exact address details of an opponent cave save a great deal of time in case litigation down the road. The reason for this is because less time can be spent submitting applications to the court to investigate a given opponent’s trade license and address. With WASI, users can add and assign multiple opponents to a given case. Insert figure

Opponent’s attorney: Identifying an opponent’s attorney may benefit both parties to propose settlement terms during case litigation. This is especially the case when neither the client nor the opponent iswilling to get in touch with each other. This gives way for the attorneys of both sides to enter into formal discussions related to the case to see how to may be resolved outside of court. Experts: Experts are either court-appointed or independent professionals that are assigned to provide a determination on the technical merits of a given case. WASI has identified all the expert types and names of experts in the UAE. Hence, when an expert is appointed by a court judge users can simply insert the name of the expert to the particular case. Having a database of registered experts provides many benefits to law firms and companies such as: It provides a detailed list of experts for independent use by a firm’s clients as when necessary, it adapts a firm’s case management strategy depending on the court-appointed expert’s experience and method of determination. All the above modules can allow lawyers to quickly establish, monitor and maintain lines of communication with multiple parties for any given case which in turn reduces time spent on managing cases. In-house legal teams can also utilize WASI by adding branches and subsidiaries of their companies to identify which branch or subsidiary is undergoing a specific case or matter.
